Features
Red BRN is a semi-opaque, medium-shade disazo condensation pigment red 144 with high tinting strength and excellent lightfastness. It is a universal type, recommended system: mainly for ink and plastics. It is a medium to slightly bluish-red pigment, which probably reigns supreme within its class. The commercially available types of acicular pigment differ considerably in terms of particle size, consequently demonstrating a range of colouristic properties. This is especially true for the tinctorial strength.
Application
Hermcol® Red BRN is recommended for water-based inks, offset inks, solvent-based inks, industrial paints, water-based coatings, solvent-based coatings, and textile printing. It is also used for plastics, LLPE, LDPE, HDPE, PP, PVC, PS, ABS, POM, PMMA, PC, and rubbers.
